David Farcaș (b.1990 in Baia Mare, Romania) lives and works in Cluj-Napoca since 2010. He graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Cluj-Napoca University of Art and Design. In Farcaș’s pictorial surfaces we find aesthetic and conceptual correspondences from the history of art, especially from modern and contemporary art. His compositions illustrate interiors, characters and urban scenes that transpose the past into the present, describing a refined and precious pictorial universe, sometimes intimate. The chromatic spectacular describes a strong artistic endeavor of an artist with a particular vision of everyday life.
